Here’s how to send money overseas.

Prepare the following information
Name of beneficiary, address of beneficiary, bank name, bank address, international bank account number (IBAN), Sort Code (Bank identifier number/BSB number), Swift Code (Bank identifier code) and account number
Receive
Here’s how to receive funds from overseas.
Step 1
Access the currency account details you will need by entering the country you are receiving funds from and your details via the American Express Inward TT Transfer Portal.
Step 2
Simply click ‘Submit’ and a PDF button will automatically appear on the next screen with payment instructions for you to provide to your overseas sender.
Step 3
Send or email the PDF file with the payment instructions to the person sending the funds so they can complete a payment for a deposit of the funds into your BankVic account.

Exchange Rate
Please note that the exchange rate applied is the rate available to AMEX on the date and time AMEX receives the funds from the corresponding financial institution. This rate cannot be set in advance and will be disclosed to you after the exchange has occurred.

When requesting an outbound telegraphic transfer (sending money overseas), our staff will need the following information in order to proceed with the transaction:
- Name of beneficiary
- Address of beneficiary
- Bank name
- Bank address
- International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
- Sort code (Bank identifier number/BSB number)
- Swift code (Bank identifier code)
- Account number
You will need to provide instructions to your overseas sender. In order to do this, you need to fill out an online form: American Express Inward TT instructions online form.
After you submit the form, a PDF file will appear on your screen containing all important information you will need to be able to process your transfer, including the SWIFT Code (or Bank Code). You can then save and email that PDF file to your overseas sender.
