Who can apply for our home loans?

Find out if you're eligible to apply for a BankVic home loan.
  1. Becoming a BankVic member

    Be eligible to be a BankVic member

    If you are a serving police, health or emergency service worker, work in the Victorian public service or related to or close friends with one of these workers you are eligible to be a BankVic member

  2. Be at least 18 years of age

    You must be 18 years or older and an Australian citizen

    Have a regular PAYG income

    You must have a regular PAYG income and be outside any probationary periods of employment

  4. email address

    Have an email address

    If you are making a joint application, both parties must have different email addresses

    Once we have received your application, one of our lending consultants will be in contact to review your application with you and let you know if any additional information is required to help with our assessment.

    When we have received all the required information, we will assess your application and if all is in order, provide you with conditional approval.

  4. Unconditional Approval

    Together we’ll make sure everything is finalised and verified, you will then receive a loan offer and contract to sign.

  5. Settlement

    When we have received your signed loan documents, a settlement date will be confirmed and on the agreed date, we will draw down funds to pay for your property or pay out your old loan.
