Faith Page has been appointed to the role
A new Chair has been appointed by the BankVic Board, following the sudden passing of former Chair Michael Liu last month.
First appointed to BankVic’s Board in November 2018, Faith brings more than 30 years’ experience in banking and financial services, having worked with several high-profile financial institutions and global professional services firms (Ashurst, BDO, EY, Deloitte, and IBM).
Faith is an experienced non-executive director and senior executive, with expertise in operational, technology, information security and cyber risk management, as well as assurance, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Gippsland Regional Advisory Forum, and a non-executive director of Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV).
“We welcome Faith’s appointment as Chair of the BankVic Board. Having served as a director since 2018, her experience and knowledge of BankVic and our members is invaluable. We look forward to Faith’s continued leadership and the contribution she will make in supporting BankVic’s ongoing commitment to our members and the communities we serve”, said CEO Anthony De Fazio.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead BankVic as Chair, and acknowledge the opportunity to continue good governance and healthy evolution of our bank for the first responder community”, said newly-appointed Board Chair, Faith Page.
