Bank@Post offers more convenience as you get your mail, parcels, office supplies, and banking transactions sorted in one place, irrespective of whether you live or work near a BankVic branch.

As a member of BankVic, you can deposit cash or cheques into your account/s via Bank@Post at over 3,300 post offices in communities all around Australia, including more than 1,800 rural and remote locations.

Bank@Post services are not only part of BankVic’s commitment to members wherever they live and work, but also supports our promise to deliver banking services in the interests of our members as a subscriber to the Customer Owned Banking Code of Practice (COBCOP). BankVic is a member of the Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA) and a subscriber to COBCOP.

This Code is a set of ethical standards for customer owned banks, credit unions and mutual building societies which focus on customer benefits, community involvement, fairer fees and quality service.

Bank@Post FAQ

  • The QR code allows you to visit participating Australia Post locations to deposit cash or cheques into your BankVic account/s. Simply display your QR code for scanning and depositing the cash or cheque.

  • There is no additional cost for using a Bank@Post deposit QR code.

  • Bank@Post deposit QR codes can be ordered for any of the following account types, provided they are open:

    • All transaction accounts
    • Savings accounts (other than Easy Invest accounts)
  • Your QR code/s will be emailed to you within three (3) business days.

  • Your funds will be deposited into your BankVic account within two (2) business days.

  • Deposits of up to a maximum of $9,999 per day in cash or cheques are accepted using your Bank@Post deposit QR code. Up to $20.00 in loose coins can be accepted.
